The story till now… #guest post
A writing journey isn’t done till you stop writing, so calling it the story till now seemed just right because for a writer your journey goes on and on till you give up the ghost. I wrote about my writing journey – the story till now – at Write Edit Publish which is a lovely community of writers. We have writing prompts a few times a year, not too many because we’re all working on something or the other most of the time so can’t really commit to too many prompts.
You may have seen the winner badge in the side bar of kalpanaawrites. My story for the last prompt – Back of the Drawer – was the winner. Adjudged the best story. Do read The Dresser and tell me what you think. I’d love your feedback. One of the big learnings for me, in the past six months has been to understand the value of sharing your work with caring and knowledgeable people, listening to what they have to say and implementing it – if you agree with their analyses, which I did.
I’ve written a guest post for Write Edit Publish – Making Writing a Priority where I write about my start-stop-start journey as a writer which isn’t very unusual. If you write, do hop over and read it and I’d be happy if you commented. While there, browse the dates for the next Challenges, you might want to sign up. The next one is on the 19th of April, which coincides with the letter P for those of us who’ve taken on the A to Z Challenge. The WEP challenge is about Peace and Love – they’ve been considerate towards the A to Z Challenge. It’s this lovely attitude that I appreciate about the blogging world where people are supportive and encouraging. At least the people I choose to interact with.
Do you make your writing a priority? I’d love to know how as I’m always looking for tips from fellow writers.
